Yes. The flagship Vestaboard has 6 lines of 22 characters, which suits a short drinks menu, daily specials or a menu that rotates through sections. The smaller Vestaboard Note suits a single special or message at the counter.
Can a Vestaboard show order-ready numbers from our POS?
Yes, with a custom integration. When an order is marked ready, the integration posts the order number to the board through the Vestaboard API.
How do staff update the board?
From the Vestaboard app on a phone or tablet, in seconds. Messages can also be scheduled, such as switching to lunch specials at a set time, or posted automatically from your systems.
Is a Vestaboard noisy in a cafe?
It makes the familiar split-flap sound for a few seconds when the message changes, then goes silent. Most venues find that's part of the appeal.
Does it work in restaurants, bars and hotel lobbies?
Yes. The same board works as a restaurant specials board, a bar tap list, a bakery's daily list or a hotel lobby welcome and events board.
